Santa Claus is coming to town...

December is finally here!

So I've painted some festive nails!

I'm currently in London so I'm attempting to use the blogger app!

My nails have chipped a little on the thumb!

I decided to do Santa, as I bought the Barry M red glitter an was dying to use it!

I couldn't think of a more suitable nail paint!

Tonight I'm going to Hyde parks winter wonderland! Really excited!

Gradient animal prints

I am still resisting the urge to paint festive nails,

I was looking at my nail varnish, and decided to do a gradient!

 

 

 I haven't done animal print for a while, 

and thought it would contrast well with the colours

I really like how it came out!

Its leopard print on my thumb, zebra on my index finger,

monarch butterfly on my middle finger, giraffe on my ring finer and 

scales on my little finger! 

December is round the corner,

For my birthday (which seems like a lifetime ago), 

my friend bought me some lovely Matte polishes from Topshop!

I was looking for inspiration, and another friend 

suggested strawberries and cherries!

I used a glitter for the stalks and things, 

which doesn't show up too well in the picture!

I am resisting the urge to paint festive nails until December!

I wanted to do a quick paint before I left the house!

So went for a simple but sweet design!

I hadn't had polish on for 2 days! 

Which is very unlike me!

My friend Leonie bought a new dress,

and its gorgeous!

I love colours, and pattern!

It was a fairly complex nail paint.

But I really like how it turned out!

The dress is from Topshop!

She bought it to wear to a funeral celebrating the life of one of her friends

So it isn't technically my sisters 23rd birthday until tomorrow...

however, she lives in Japan, and they are 9 hours ahead!

So Happy birthday Lorna!

I attempted to write Happy Birthday in Japanese on my ring finger

It was really hard to fit it on!

Hopefully I got the right word!

I also painted an owl, a belly dancer and some books!

Hello Kitty

My sister is currently living and working in Japan

and she says that Hello Kitty is everywhere!

So I thought i'd have a go at some!

I really like how they came out!

I haven't done a matte manicure for a while!

I had a spare 20 minutes so got painting!

I used a Number 17 grey and Rimmel silver!

They chipped pretty quickly though due to having no top coat!

Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday

Today is remembrance Sunday, 

so I painted poppies on my nails.

I painted the poppies in commemoration of the amazing

bravery and sacrifice of our armed forces.

 They will be remembered.

Last night my family had a little bonfire party.

I attempted to do fire nails.

They didn't work very well...

But I suppose they look a little flame like!

Had a nice time, although the weather wasn't 

the nicest!

So today is Guy Fawkes night! 

I attempted to do 'firework' nails!

However they don't look all too much fireworks...

But my family are doing a little bonfire firework thing on Friday,

so I will re-attempt a design then!

Birthday surprise trip to Milan!

Birthday surprise trip to Milan!

For my birthday I got taken on a surprise holiday to Milan!

So as Milan is the fashion capital of the world, 

I thought I'd do some nails I see a lot in fashion magazines!

I had an incredible time!

Italy is a really beautiful place!

Skeleton and a Ghost

Skeleton and a Ghost

So yesterday was Halloween!

Me and my friend dressed up as a skeleton and a ghost!

We didn't have much time to paint her nails as we had to go out!
So kept it nice and simple!

So went with a ghost and BOO!

Did a skeleton and bones on mine! 

I also got some glow in the dark top coat!
It worked really well, although taking the photo was a little tricky!

Also, you have to 'charge' the nail varnish to make it glow!

Meaning holding your hands by a light bulb for a while!

But it glows really well! 

 

Had a really good night!
