Animal print!

I painted different animal prints on my nails today!

I've done animal print nails a few times, 

but I've never blogged them!

From left to right they are...

Scales (Was going for fish, but my mum and sister thought snake!),
Zebra print, Leopard print, Tiger print and

Giraffe print!

Really pleased with how they turned out!

This is my favourite photo of me and my mum!

We took it on holiday in Greece.

I painted my nails based on the jumper we

bought my mum for Christmas!

However maybe not the best choice to put the bright pink 

on my cuticles... 

Mum often wears vibrant colours.
So I thought sherbetty spring colours were perfect!

They looked a little plain, so I added a simple accent nail!

International Women's Day

International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day!
I painted my nails the colours of IWD which are green, purple and white!

The purple hasn't really shown up very well!

I used IWD symbols, my favourite is the index finger!

 Its a fairly basic and simple design!

My sisters Blog launch!

My sisters Blog launch!

Today my sister has launched her blog!
It is www.eyesofathenadotcom.wordpress.com

So I decided to paint my nails around her blog! :)

My sisters blog is all about books!

Hence my book themed nails.

 The owl on my thumb is there as her blog name is eyes of Athena,
and Athena's symbol is an owl.

At the bottom I asked my sister to summarise her blog in a few sentences.

Feathers!

 Feathers!

Last week my friend showed me some feather nails! 

Well, I just had to have a go!

I bought the feathers from hobby craft.

My first attempt utterly failed.
I had stuck the feather to the nail and the finger next to it,

and then moved my finger pulling the feather off!

I'm happy with how it turned out eventually.

But it took some practice, and lots of top coat!

More flowers!

My mum bought me a dress! I love it and really wanted to do a themed mani!

Colours didn't quite come out right, 
the background of the dress is a deep purple.

However I had really bad migraine! 
So I hadn't quite finished this hand, and had barely attempted my other!
But took some photos so I thought i'd upload them. 

I love how my index finger turned out! 
I will have to re-do this headache free!

Mirror image

I bought a mirror a while ago from Accessorize (I think..).

I wanted to do design based on it for a while.

I'm really pleased with it!

I'm being rather floral at the moment...

It was lots of fun to do, love the stripey background!
