Brown and Gold

No real story behind this design. Wanted to do something pretty and was wearing a brown top.

I was really pleased when doing this design, but when I came to painting my right hand it was a different story...!

Its always harder to paint the hand you use to write with (for me anyway!!) but with an intricate design, a LOT harder! Took easily double the time to do my right as it did my left, but turned out well in the end.

I used mostly henna designs for the patterns and I'm really pleased with them.

The colours are Cocoa Cabanna - 17 and Gold - H&M.

I've found out my sister is currently on a cruise along the River Nile! I am soo very jealous, but at least my nails look fab!

Today hasn't been the best day. What's a girl to do?

A pretty pink manicure of course!

This design is really simple - it only contains 2 colours, a light pink (which looks nude in the pictures...) and a shocking pink.

I really like the dual colour French manicures at the moment, so had to include it!

On the River Nail

Ok, so excuse the pun! But my brother suggested it and I had to!
As you may have guessed I decided to do Egyptian themed nails, this is as my sister is going to Egypt and I'm immensely jealous!

Had a lot of fun doing these! They are a Scarab beetle, a pyramid, Horus' eye, the Ankh and a man 'walking like an Egyptian' 

My favourite nail is the eye of Horus! Or maybe the Pyramid...

Other titles me and brother came up with were; CLEOticle and
Tutankhanail...

Not sure what to do as my next design, would love suggestions! :)

Shopping trip with my nan!

My nan is the first person who really encouraged me to do nail art, and would sit for hours while I tried different designs on her nails. 

We decided to go shopping in the shops near her house. Predictably, I bought some nail varnish. 

I got a few different colours but my favourite is this metalicy army green!!

I decided to keep it pretty simple with just one accent nail, but really happy with how it turned out!

With February just around the corner it wont be long before my green hearts turn to red!

So, I have had this post ready to go for a while, but finally gotten round to do it!
I had 2 maths exams, and can never judge them, so fingers crossed!

I decided to be adventurous and paint all 10 nails with a different superhero logo, here's how they turned out....

Some worked better than others...

(From left to right the nails are Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Fantastic Four, The Flash, Watchmen, Robin, Wonder Woman, Thor and Captain America)

I think my favourite is probably watchmen, but not too sure! I had mostly given up by the time I got onto the flash... which I think shows.

Annoyingly the camera flash makes Spiderman's eye look strange, really need to learn how to use a camera!

Anyway, my exams are finally over, so I can relax for a while, and paint my heart out.

The world through my eye(s)!

So... my first post: I've only just really discovered blogs and decided to (attempt) to make my own! But the idea of starting my own blog has been daunting! So, let me introduce my nails...

I am a nail fanatic! Never seen without my nail varnish, not sure if any of my friends have seen my 'natural' nails since primary school. I am new to nail art but love it, and currently live and breathe it! I feel my first post should be about the nail design I am wearing at the moment!

There's no real story behind these. I was watching a film with my family, and wearing a turquoise top, and my sister was (as per usual) doodling - eyes specifically! Thus was born my design.

Now, my photography skills need improving but until one of my lovely friends helps me out, this is the standard! Sorry any camera enthusiasts!
